The county of Pembrokeshire is bordered on three sides by the sea, which is part of the reason it was possible to set up a costal National Park there. This means that if you enjoy the beach you will enjoy your holiday there. The beaches of Pembrokeshire are in pristine condition with more blue flag beaches there than anywhere else in the UK. The variety of activities on those beaches is amazing including kayaking, sailing, diving, snorkelling and surfing is very popular in the area, so if you are at all sporty you are in heaven. However, if all you want to do is to go for a quite stroll you can do that too.

If you like history you will enjoy the county of Pembrokeshire. It has dozens of castles and historic sites dating back to before the Romans. Because the county is on the border of England and bordered by the sea the county’s population has always been quite mixed. The early history of the area includes the Deisi from Ireland and the Vikings.
